Lesson 13 – At home
Dialogue
Steve: Where do you live Dorothy ?
Dorothy: Well, I live at 10, Park Lane, downtown. And you ?
Steve: It’s 2 minutes far from my home! How nice! We can meet very often. And how big is your house ?
Dorothy: It’s a semi-detached house. There are 4 levels. First the garage. Then the ground floor with a hall, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen. In the living room there is a big, true fireplace. Then upstairs, on the 1st floor there are my parents’ bedroom, my brother’s bedroom, my own bedroom, the bathroom and the toilets. It’s very cosy. I love my bedroom. And to finish, the attic. We often play in the attic with my brother.
Steve: Great ! It’s a typical English house !
